Lentils are outrageously good for you. This is about as simple as you can get. Use this as a base and add whatever veggies you have in the fridge. Anything from tomatoes, spinach, carrots, celery… the list goes on and on. You can even put in a little cumin as well. You can make it your own.
2 Massel Beef Style Ultracubes
1 cup green lentils
4 cups water
Freshly ground pepper, to taste.
Put water, bouillon cubes, and lentils in a soup pot and bring to a boil. (This is also the time you can add any vegetables that you want to add.) Then turn down to a simmer.
