Simple Lentil Soup

Lentils are outrageously good for you. This is about as simple as you can get. Use this as a base and add whatever veggies you have in the fridge. Anything from tomatoes, spinach, carrots, celery… the list goes on and on. You can even put in a little cumin as well. You can make it your own.

(Serves: 4-6)
  • 2 Massel Beef Style Ultracubes
  • 1 cup green lentils
  • 4 cups water
  • Freshly ground pepper, to taste.
  1. Put water, bouillon cubes, and lentils in a soup pot and bring to a boil. (This is also the time you can add any vegetables that you want to add.) Then turn down to a simmer.
  2. Simmer for 45 minutes.
  3. Freshly grind in pepper to taste.
  4. Serve up and enjoy.
