While April showers do bring May flowers, they also bring delicious and healthy produce. Right now, artichokes and asparagus are all the rage. Not only are they currently in season but they also are packed with dietary fiber and other essential vitamins. If you’re looking to start spring on a strong note, we highly recommend adding these two veggies to your favorite dishes. Not a fan of veggies or find they taste bland? You’re in luck. Just add a bit of Massel Bouillon and Seasoning for an instant burst of flavor.
Our Favorite Asparagus and Artichoke Recipes Using Massel Products:
- Creamy Lemon Pasta Alfredo: We love this recipe because of how easily it can be customized. While peas and fava beans are a great addition to this dish, there’s nothing better than the crunch of fresh asparagus in pasta.
- Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus: If you’re like us, then you’ll understand how no appetizer dish is complete without prosciutto. Instead of putting prosciutto on the standard charcuterie board, why not try something unique and low-carb? This dish is so delicious you’ll forget its nutritious.
- Angel Hair Artichoke Pasta: Artichokes are versatile and can adapt to any dish they’re in. One way we especially love using them is in this well-balanced pasta dish. It’s free of gluten but full of flavor.
- Cream of Artichoke Soup: Looking for a dish that can be made in 30 minutes or less? We’ve got you covered. This delicious vegan soup is creamy enough to fill you while healthy enough to keep you energized.
