Such is what happened when long-time Massel customer Susan Righton put together her Sweet Potato and Apple Soup, a favorite of her grandchildren. Their family always selects Pink Lady apples to champion the dish, but really, any tasty apple will do the trick.
White potatoes, carrots and red onion balance out the sweetness of the sweet potato and apple, along with plenty of Massel stock made with chicken style Ultracube bouillon cubes and all-purpose seasoning. Wholesome and gluten-free, this soup satisfies a wide range of palettes. Feel free to garnish with bay leaves or whatever is in your cabinets, and be sure to supplement with crusty rolls or your favorite gluten-free bread to wipe the bowl clean!
