There’s no need to complicate things in the kitchen, especially on a tight schedule and/or with a limited budget. For this reason, the Lemon Chicken Soup is a go-to favorite in the Massel kitchen. It has the power to bring family and friends together and satisfy even the pickiest of eaters. If you have a half-hour to spare, then you can nail this recipe and be proud of the results.

You can start with either Massel 7’s chicken style bouillon cubes or our Ultracubes teamed with the all-purpose bouillon and seasoning. You’ll need to cook the chicken ahead of time, but letting it sit for a few hours in a simple marinade is a good move anyway to build out its flavor. A slew of vegetables builds the dish out, and you can even add rice or rice noodles to make it even more filling.

For the vegans and vegetarians in your group, skip the chicken breast and used cubed tofu instead. It does an incredible job of soaking up the tangy broth.
